Age Without Limits Day 2026: Microgrants for community groups

Share:

We are thrilled to announce that microgrants are being made available for community groups and local voluntary sector organisations within Age-friendly Communities to take part in the Age Without Limits Day on Wednesday 10th June 2026. This is a moment for us to come together to tackle ageism in our communities.

This is the third year we have run this microgrant opportunity for groups to participate in the Age Without Limits Day. We have seen a breadth of different events hosted in previous years, including fashion shows, podcast launches, circus performances, volunteer awards and much more. You can read about all the creative events previously held for Age Without Limits Days in the 2024 and 2025 round up blogs – we can’t wait to see your new exciting ideas in 2026!

How much is available?

We are offering grants of up to £500 to help communities participate in the day, plus an additional £150 available to make events more accessible for participants.

Who is eligible?

This grant is only available to community groups or voluntary organisations within Age-friendly Communities who are part of the UK Network of Age-friendly Communities. You can find out if your community is a member and therefore whether you are eligible to apply, on this map.

Your group may already have a focus on ageing or ageism, or this might be an exciting opportunity to really think about this issue and raise awareness to a new group of people.

For further information on eligibility and assessment criteria please download and read the information document.
