We are delighted to invite you to the launch of the Wakefield District Centre for Positive Ageing on Tuesday 10 June at Tea Tree Café at Wakefield Cathedral.
The launch coincides with Age Without Limits Day; a national campaign focused on challenging ageism and celebrating ageing without stereotypes.
The event will be an informal drop-in session with opportunities for conversation, engagement and sharing ideas about what positive ageing means across Wakefield District.
Date: Wednesday 10 June
Time: 12:00pm – 3:00pm
Venue: The Tea Tree Café, Wakefield Cathedral
Alongside the launch, we are also asking residents, communities, and partners to take part in our Positive Ageing Census to help shape future work across the district.

The new website will also go live on 10 June: www.centreforpositiveageing.co.uk
We would really appreciate your support in helping us share and promote the launch and census through your networks and social media channels and would love to see you at the event.
Together we’re redefining ageing across the Wakefield District. There's no need to sign up, just join us on the day.
