'Wisdom and Wonder' an intergenerational session, which will be run just like our usual forest play sessions (with Emily from Fern Forest School), so there'll be stories, songs, nature based crafts and sensory activities, but including the residents of Haulfre Care Home in Llangoed to join us for the fun. Similar projects have shown benefits for both adults and children; improving mental health for older people, helping to battle depression, loneliness, and dementia, while children can develop stronger communication and social skills, empathy and kindness.
