The Dreamers

This play, titled 'The Reunion' shows a gathering of older black women reminiscing about their youth and the music that was the back drop to their younger years. It sees them meeting up in a disused club and finding the old record player, their youthful selves come to life through playing their favourite music.

The women talk about the clubs they went to back in the day and the audeince will hear such tracks as 'Sweetest Feeling' Ring my Bell' 'Outstanding' and many more. At the close audience members are encouraged to get up and dance with the women to the tracks.
