Age Friendly Hertfordshire will create a powerful video montage showcasing local older people in diverse roles contributing to communities, from volunteering to having fun in creative ways.
The film will highlight and debunk negative stereotypes, celebrating the many ways people continue to contribute, thrive, and stay independent as they age. Shared widely online and in public spaces, this video will inspire and promote positive attitudes towards ageing across Hertfordshire.

Generation Circus is redefining what circus can be with Will You Still Love Me? - a groundbreaking circus show performed by CAN DO CIRCUS COMPANY - a fearless group of over-50s who took their first leap into circus arts in April 2024.
Through aerial theatre, dance, animation, and video installations, they challenge stereotypes and bring to life powerful personal stories about ageing, resilience, and community.
The Nechells POD intergenerational community picnic and storytelling session celebrates Age Without Limits Day by bringing together people of all ages to enjoy a shared picnic.
Older participants will share stories about their experiences of aging in Nechells, fostering connection and understanding between generations.
The event also features a collaborative footprint craft and a community consultation, ensuring everyone’s voice is heard while promoting inclusion, celebrating aging, and challenging ageist stereotypes.

Videos, portraits and written accounts make up a collage celebrating a generation that has seen and done more than you know.
